The Leopard Mule and Its Care

Leopard mules have long been popular among equine hobbyists. These cute little creatures can make a great family pet because they are relatively easy to care for, and they have a strong desire to please. Leopard mules were originally bred in Australia, but are now grown in many parts of the United States and even in parts of Europe. They are very strong, with muscular development and a thick growth ring of fur around their tail. Mules can grow up to 20 inches in height, so you may want to purchase a young one if you are just getting started with this breed. Leopards are fairly easy to raise (some consider them to be low maintenance) because they are not demanding animals.

Mules will do well with a daily walk in a well-manicured area, especially one with some variety, so that they do not become bored. You should consider providing your leopard mule with a white shirt, since they love to eat and wear white shirts. A white shirt gives them something to “run” through, and you may also want to keep a bottle of water handy as well. It is important to keep your leopards clean; you should try to make sure that their nails and coat are kept as clean as possible.

One thing that you will need to provide your leopard with is a variety of toys – one or two white t-shirts, plus a variety of sticks, rings, and toys that your leopard will like to play with. If you decide that your pet needs a bath, then simply take a towel, a sponge, and some baby shampoo into the tub with you. Make sure that the tank is not too deep, and always let your leopard stay in the tub with you, because they have a tendency to roll in the water. Also, make sure that you provide them with a place to hide from potential predators, such as hawks, cats, and dogs.
