In 1987, Nike introduced the world to Air Max—a revolutionary concept that revolutionized running footwear and fashion. Over 30 years later, the silhouette continues to be a staple in the brand’s release calendar, ranging from in-line colorways curated by Tinker Hatfield to collaborations with Travis Scott, Patta, and others. The latest to join the lineup is a leopard print version that’s sure to make you want to go wild.
Designed exclusively for women, the Premium Denim Leopard edition of the Air Max 1 delivers a unique take on animal prints and DIY aesthetics. The sneaker’s upper is built with a textured white base, featuring 2 different tones of dark blue denim construction on the mudguard and quarter panels. These overlays are adorned with leopard print, while red and gold embroidery on the ankle collar add a pop of color. Round rope laces, a tan leather tongue tab and yellow stitching on the shoe’s Swooshes round out the premium aesthetic.
The sneaker’s heritage track look and visible Air units preserve the signature AM1 design, while a wavy leopard print on the mudguard provides a fashionable touch that can easily be paired with casual streetwear outfits. Its durable textiles and lightweight leather stand up to everyday wear, while the wavy Air unit and tried-and-true cushioning keep you feeling like you’re on safari.
The women’s-exclusive Air Max 1 Leopard Print is set to release in Spring 2024 through Nike and select retailers. It will retail for $140 USD.
